Career Opportunity: Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This role is crucial in the cardiovascular program, where you will prepare and monitor patients during procedures in a sterile environment.
This position involves collaboration with cardiologists, offering opportunities for professional growth through mentorship and training. To be successful, you must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and complete specific competency requirements within the first six months of employment.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Preparation:

Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Patient Monitoring:

Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
Sterile Environment Maintenance:

Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:

Education:

Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology.
Certification:

Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Experience:

Previous procedural area experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range:

$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
