Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS to expand our cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System.

We pride ourselves on being a beacon of workplace excellence and offer a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
Responsibilities

Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications

Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT)
RCIS certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
Education and Experience

Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
Compensation

$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
