The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS to join its team. This individual will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures.
This role requires ensuring a sterile environment and maintaining strong professional relationships within a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, the technologist will serve as a preceptor for new hires and students, contributing to the orientation process and upholding high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in an Cath Lab preferred.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification required.
Compensation:
$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
