Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment for cardiovascular procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care in a sterile environment. This role involves collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as mentoring new staff and students. Candidates must be certified in Radiologic Technology and complete specific training within six months of hire.
