Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This individual will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment in our state-of-the-art cardiovascular program.
About the Role:

This position requires a Radiologic Technology degree and relevant credentials, such as ARRT or RCIS registration.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and provide excellent patient care.
This role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of patient safety and care.
Responsibilities:

Preparing equipment before and during procedures
Assessing patient conditions and providing patient care
Maintaining a sterile environment
Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Participating in the orientation of new staff
Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
Qualifications:

Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology
Eligibility and/or current ARRT or RCIS registration
Previous procedural area experience preferred
American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS certification preferred
