Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS at Norman Regional Health System

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and providing care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
This role requires maintaining relationships with physicians and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
With a focus on innovative care and professional development, the technologist plays a vital role in the hospital's award-winning cardiovascular program.
We are looking for a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand our cardiovascular program. You will work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities:

Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position and provide patient care.
Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Maintain strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
Basic Life Support
Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
Compensation:

$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
