Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS
Description:
The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to expand its innovative cardiovascular program. As part of our team, you will be working in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with cutting-edge equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Preparation:

Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure seamless workflow.
Patient Assessment:

Identify and assess patient conditions to provide optimal care.
Sterile Environment:

Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Professional Practice:

Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Training and Development:

Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
Downtime Productivity:

Utilize downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
Qualifications:
Credentials:

Possess a valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Education:

Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
Experience:

Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
Compensation:
$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
