Job Title:

Surgical Technologist I
SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in maintaining a sterile environment and assisting surgeons during various procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This position requires completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience, along with ongoing professional education and current certification as applicable.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
$19.56-$31.94/hr., depending on previous work experience
Evening differential: $2.00/hr.
Night differential: $2.50/hr.
Weekend differential: $2.50/hr.
A Sign-On Bonus of up to $5K, paid over 1 year

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Maintaining a sterile environment
Preparing for procedures
Assisting the physician to promote optimal patient outcomes
Providing and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff
Responsible for personal continuing education and professional practice
QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, you must have:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or five consecutive years of training/experience as a surgical tech
National Certification in Surgical Technology is highly preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be maintained for the duration of employment
If Certified Surgical Technologist, current certification is required
Currently Oklahoma LPN license required, if applicable
