We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients in emergency situations. Your expertise and quick decision-making skills will be crucial in managing a wide range of medical conditions and trauma cases.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide immediate and effective care to patients presenting with urgent and emergency conditions. Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor patient progress.
Clinical Skills: Perform emergency procedures, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic tests and treatments as ordered by physicians.
Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
Patient Advocacy: Act as an advocate for patients and their families, providing support, education, and reassurance during stressful situations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Emergency Preparedness: Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations, utilizing your skills to manage critical cases and stabilize patients.
Safety and Protocols: Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and hospital policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred.
Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in emergency medical procedures.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $64.00 per hour

Expected hours: 72 per week

Wichita Falls, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
