*Job Posting: RN - Co-Ed Adolescent Unit*

*Position Overview:*

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Co-Ed Adolescent Unit in Towson. The RN will engage in multidisciplinary assessments, evaluations, crisis interventions, and stabilization of both adolescent female and male patients, aged 12-17.

This role demands a compassionate, patient, and easy-going personality, capable of providing high-quality psychiatric nursing services.

*Shift/Hours:*
* Co-Ed Adolescent - Days 40hrs/wk - 7:00a-3:30p
* Co-Ed Adolescent - Days 40hrs/wk - 7:00a-3:30p
* Co-Ed Adolescent - Days 40hrs/wk - 3:00pm - 11:30pm & 11:00pm - 7:30am
* Co-Ed Adolescent - Night 40hrs/wk - 11:00pm - 7:30am
* Co-Ed Adolescent - Night 40hrs/wk - 11:00pm - 7:30am

*Holiday/Weekend Requirement:*

Rotating Weekends or opt-in to our Weekend Bonus Program, with varying commitments available for enhanced compensation.

*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and contribute to the treatment planning and crisis management.
* Administer medical treatments as prescribed and provide psychosocial support.
* Offer clinical guidance to Mental Health Workers and document progress.
* Engage in discharge planning to transition patients to outpatient care.

*Qualifications:*

*Must Have:*
* Valid MD RN License (Note: NP qualifications will not substitute for RN credentials).
* AHA-approved BLS/CPR certification.
* Associate's Degree in Nursing; new graduates are welcome to apply.

*Preferred:*
* Prior experience in psychiatric settings. Experience with adolescent care highly regarded, though new graduates will be considered.

*Unit Details:*
* 12-bed unit with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:7.
* Common diagnoses include Mood Disorders, with an average of 2 admissions per day.
* Opportunities for career growth include Charge Nurse positions and continuing education with tuition reimbursement.
