A non-profit community hospital is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
Central New Jersey is rich with attractions. You can explore the Princeton University campus, with its historic architecture and beautiful gardens, or visit the Princeton Art Museum for a dose of culture. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Sourland Mountain Preserve offers hiking and nature exploration.
The clinician will be sharing a 14-bed inpatient unit with a Psych Provider. The patients are adult acute voluntary. There is no after-hours call. The psychiatrist will also perform medical floor consults for assessment of safety/overdoses and capacity assessments. Credentialing takes 3 weeks for temp privileges.


Dates Needed:  August for 3 months with the option to extend
Case Load/PPD:  11-12 including consults, rounding, admissions and discharges
Shift Type:  Day Shift
Assignment Type:  Inpatient
Assignment Duration:  Locums
Shift Hours:  Full time (40 hours)
Cases Treated:  mood disorders, depression, thought disorders, and substance use
