Global Accounting Team - Staff Accountant


Join an esteemed investment management firm in their Global Accounting team as a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities:

  • Complete journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate internal reports for legal entities, with a focus on compensation-related matters
  • Coordinate with the Global Payroll team to ensure precise accounting across multiple locations worldwide
  • Evaluate compensation expense accounts and monthly financial results, presenting findings to management
  • Prepare regulatory filings and surveys, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Assist in external audits by compiling audit work papers and addressing auditor queries
  • Maintain procedure documentation and identify opportunities for operational enhancements and process streamlining
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related field required
  • Preferably 1-3 years' experience in accounting; experience in compensation accounting is advantageous
  • Possesses strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel and systems; familiarity with Workday is preferred
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with stringent deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
  • Demonstrates maturity in handling confidential information
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive in excelling in a dynamic finance environment
