Job Posting Summary Up to $2,500 Sign on Bonus, if hired Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Cath Lab Department at our Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday opportunity, with hours of 6:30am-5:00pm. Up to $2,500 Sign on Bonus, if hired As an Registered Nurse in our Cath Lab your responsibilities will include: * Makes sure emergency equipment is ready and available in the department. Completes the crash cart log completely including * Assesses the patient's EMR for history and lab results to further assure ability to tolerate stress testing. * Appropriately changes patients from Lexiscan to Dobutamine per power plan based on the assessment of the patient. * Notifies ordering MD and Cardiologist of critical changes in EKG from baseline. * Appropriately treat chest pain. * Reports any changes in the patient assessment including new chest pain to the floor nurse. * Able to reverse Lexiscan with Aminophylline per power plan. * Explains the testing process to the patient including what to expect and possible side effects. * Is able to work efficiently in the Pavilion office to provide timely stress testing to patients with scheduled appointments.
