Registered Vascular Sonographer

This is a full time position Monday through Friday, no call, weekends, or holidays. The *Vascular Sonographer* must be registered (either RVT or RVS) and must be able to work well both independently and as part of a growing team. At least two years of vascular imaging experience preferred.
*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Performing all diagnostic vascular examinations which also include PVR/ABI exams, TCD bubble studies, venous reflux studies and assisting in EVLT procedures.
* Knowledge of peripheral vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology and the ability to differentiate artifact from appropriate images.
* Provide complete and diagnostic preliminary reporting for physician review and interpretation.
* Professional and courteous communication with patients, explaining the exam and answering patient questions to the best of their ability.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain positive interactions with patients and other team members.
* Monitoring and maintaining ultrasound equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
* Proper cleaning of ultrasound equipment and exam rooms between patients.
* BLS certified
