Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery RN to join a highly supportive healthcare team in the Southwest Vermont area. In this role, you will care for mothers and their newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN who is passionate about providing exceptional care and making a difference during life-changing moments.

Working in this community-focused hospital setting, you will experience a collaborative environment that values both advanced care and patient-centered service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and support patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
  2. Administer medications, including epidurals, and monitor fetal and maternal health
  3. Assist in vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections when necessary
  4. Provide education and guidance on infant care and postpartum recovery
  5. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
  6. Respond promptly to emergencies and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
Qualifications:
  1. Active RN license in any state (Vermont is a walkthrough state)
  2. 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
  3. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
  4. Strong ability to handle high-stress, fast-paced environments
  5. Excellent communication and patient care skills
