  • ME License 
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Traveler Experience: Dependent on previous experience
  • BCLS, ALCS, PALS, MAB, NIH, NRP, TNCC

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

Traveler Experience: Dependent on previous experience
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: locals are considered anyone within 60 miles, no local candidates
Skills: 1:3 ratios, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, CVA, Abdominal pain, Asthma, Burns, Epiglottitis, Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Mental/behavioral health conditions, Near drowning, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Skin Disorders, Urinary tract infections, Acute psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Psychiatric Hold, Suicidal patient, Chest tube insertion/management, CPAP/BiPAP, Intubation, Ventilated patients, Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation, Isolation Precautions, Triage
Certs: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: CPI, MAB, NIH - Can substitute NRP for PALS, Community Hospital Experience, MedHost experience, Pediatric Emergency Department, Arterial line management, Procedural Sedation Administration, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Manage / apply splints, Ortho-Trauma, Poison ingestion, Sickle cell crisis, Spinal cord injury, Interpretation of ABGs,

JOB DETAILS:

Shift: 3x12 Days 06:30-19:00 (flexible to work some nights, however position is mostly days)

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, MedHost, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION: Number of hours given for orientation depends on the RN. No more than 24 HRS provided.
