Requirements:

  • WV/Compact License
  • 2 years RN experience
  • 1 year in specialty experience
  • IV Start, Vents, Telemetry, Level 1 Trauma Experience, Conscious Sedation
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • TNCC preferred

  • 1st Time Travelers Accepted if experienced in ICU / Trauma
  • Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs
  • 100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
5S Trauma Stepdown (IMC/PCU) RN3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, EOW, float
25 Floor Beds, 6 Step-Down Beds, 6 Peds Beds. Multidisciplinary team approach in providing nursing care to multi-system-injured trauma patients and surgical patients.A six-bed intermediate care stepdown unit provides an intermediate level of care.Ratios: Floor RN: 1:5 / SDU: 1:3Orientation/Start Dates held every other week on Thursday2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required1st Time Travelers Accepted if experienced in ICU / Trauma36 or 48hr contract optionsEvery other weekend requiredBLS, ACLS, Fit Test, CPI (Travelers can get CPI done with Qualivis), TNCC preferredSkill Requirements: IV Start, Vents, Telemetry, Level 1 Trauma Experience, Conscious SedationClinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needsOpen to accommodating blocked schedule requests100mi.
