Responsibilities
- Must be able to operate all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently.
- Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
- Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during exams.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS computer system.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must be a senior student attending an Accredited two-year Radiology Technology training program at a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
- Active BLS Certification
- High school diploma or GED
