Schedule

-Call taking position with a great work/life balance.

-Guaranteed paid post-call day off. 

 

Salary

-Base salary starts at $215,000 for new grads (salary is based on CRNA experience).

-In addition to base salary CRNAs receive supplemental pay for call and hours worked beyond scheduled shifts.

-Student Stipend $1500/month up to $30,000 or Sign-on bonus of $30,000

-Annual Call Bonus of $15,000 for taking call.

-Eligible for Annual Merits.

 

Benefits:

-The position offers Allowed Time Off (ATO), which is 36 days annually.

-CME Allowance is $2,500 annually.

-MBMC will provide malpractice and tail coverage for services within the scope of practice.

-This role offers three retirement plans, a 401(k), pension plan and 457(b).

Overview

 

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. 

 

Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Advanced practice nurse who works in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures.

 

Responsibilities

Participates in professional developmentProvides direct patient care and documents care given.Ensures compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal laws that may apply to anesthesia services.Completes the pre-anesthesia patient record, reviews the results of laboratory data, and begins induction when appropriate.
