Shift: Days / 6:45a-7:15p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, no call
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
  • AL RN License
  • At least 2 years of psychiatric RN experience required
  • Must have recent experience with 1:10+ ratios
  • Must have recent experience with adults and geri patients
  • AHA BLS

  • Could be floated between geriatrics and adult units

Margin/OT Billing Rules for candidates contracted for 48 hours: OT is billed after 48hrsITC & perm staff must be separated from DCH for at least 6 months before returning as a travelerNursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirectLocals are welcome to submit

Duties as an RN can include an assignment of administering medications vs a full team of patients and assignments can include making 15 minute rounds and working in a PCA role. As the RN on this unit, the job duties are varied as need arises in order to keep patients safe and not disrupt the milieu of the unit
