Job Responsibilities
Yarde Metals is looking for a Class B Driver to join our Fleet & Operations Team in North Canton, OH. A Class B Truck Driver safely operates a commercial truck to transport and deliver material to customers.
SAFETY FIRST Safely operating the truck.
Load and unload material from trucks.
Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits.
Verify piece count and condition of materials.
Report vehicle maintenance needs.
Comply with company policies and DOT regulations.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements & Qualifications
***This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position: requires operating heavy machinery.***
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Class B CDL driver's license
Clean MVR
Minimum 6 months driving experience strongly preferred
Ability to pass a drug test, physical, human performance evaluation, and background check
Capable of meeting physical requirements of the position
Willingness to work overtime
