To qualify, applicants must:

  • H ave active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Hold a master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Have Child Abuse Clearance
  • Have Criminal Background Check
  • Have Fingerprinting
  • H ave experience working with young children is a plus but not required

What to expect from this role?

  • Support children and their caregivers with the development of fine motor skills such as reaching and grasping objects and work at improving self-help skills such as feeding, dressing and oral-motor development.
  • Identify and modify sensory and environmental barriers that limit participation in everyday routines and model activities for the caregiver to support sensory, motor, and behavioral needs.
  • Serve as member of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) team for infants and toddlers with occupational therapy concerns
  • Facilitate goals and objectives per child's IFSP plan
  • Maintain appropriate records
  • Perform other OT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
