A growing construction company with over 30 years of success is hiring a Senior Accountant to work alongside the CFO to develop and oversee accounting processes. This opportunity is direct hire, onsite, located in Chesterfield, St. Louis, MO.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, managing Accounts Payable/Receivable, the general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and manage financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Coordinate with an external CPA for the annual financial review.
Lead the budgeting process, including preparing forecasts and analyzing financial data to support business decisions.
Mentor and develop the growing accounting team, collaborating closely with the CFO.
Handle semi-monthly payroll processing with a third-party service provider.

To Succeed, It Will Help If You Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or CMA preferred.
2+ years of public accounting experience.
Friendly and coachable demeanor.
