Responsibilities
The Intensivist is a licensed professional nurse that works under the supervision and direction of collaborating physicians or the Medical Director for the Hospitalist program; they provide direct, comprehensive, preventative and therapeutic healthcare to patients and families including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, counseling and instruction in compliance with Nurse Practitioner Protocols and all regulations governing APPs. The Intensivist may provide healthcare for which the Intensivist is educationally prepared and for which competence has been attained and maintained. Responsible for all aspects of coordination of Hospitalist program including fiscal accountability, time and resources. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current APN licensure in Arkansas.
Documentation compliant with the State Nursing Board of satisfactory completion of a nurse practitioner educational program and completion of preceptorship.
Eligibility for a Medicare provider number and DEA registration.
Pay Range
55.02 - 75.65/hour
