*We are currently seeking an External Transportation Driver & Escort. *The External Transportation Driver & Escort position is a Full-Time position responsible for scheduling and coordinating new and return medical visits for residents per physician orders. Also, verifies insurance coverage; obtains pre-authorization as needed and plans scheduling of medical care. Position is also responsible for driving residents to doctor appointments and outpatient services off campus. Accompanies residents with special care needs to medical appointments and performs personal care duties such as assisting with transfer, dressing/undressing and toileting as needed during medical visits.

*Requires:*
* Valid CA Driver License, Dept of Transportation driver’s permit
* Knowledge of the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles areas
* CPR and First Aid Cards
* 1 year experience in a skilled nursing, acute, residential care facility or outpatient clinic preferred
* Previous driving experience required
