Local Sales Representative Requirements
• 2 years of business to business outside sales experience preferred
• Demonstrated commercial selling skills
• Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a semi-autonomous environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use and learn software programs
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Automotive industry knowledge and background
• Ability and desire to learn more about the industry, new products, services and advancing technology
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers as well as our internal team
• A basic level of mechanical aptitude to understand the operational nature of diesel engine components, fuel systems, charge air and exhaust (emissions) systems.
Local Sales Representative Responsibilities
• Managing your territory to achieve the maximum sales goals and increase profitability
• Identifying and exploring new potential oppurtunities
• Confidence to make entry and execute cold calls
• Executing marketing strategy and promoting our products
• Ability to create marketing strategies and programs
• Maintaining sales call reports
• Supporting and communicating well with our internal team to ensure customer satisfaction
