Our MS2S offers 16 private rooms for our surgical patients and 8 private rooms for our orthopedic patients. Our split units specialize in the care of Urological, General Medical-Surgical, Vascular, and orthopedic services.
Our unit is staffed with Registered Nurses (RN), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). We work as a team with ABMC physicians who represent a vast array of specialties as part of a collaborative effort to provide the best possible care to our patients. Our nurse-to-patient ratio varies based on patient acuity but is generally 4:1 for day shift and 5:1 for Night Shift. To provide the best continuity of care, our staff schedule is built around 12-hour shifts. Staff involvement in decision-making is strongly encouraged at ABMC: at the unit, site, and system levels.

- Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday

Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
