Job Title: Night Shift Registered Nurse

Job Summary: Park Forest Care Center, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. The Night Shift Registered Nurse will be responsible for overseeing the care of our residents during the overnight hours, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. This position requires proficiency in the use of point click care and risk management tools, as well as a strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and patient care standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assess and evaluate residents' health status
* Develop and implement care plans that meet the specific needs of our residents
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
* Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to medications and treatments
* Provide emotional support and guidance to residents and their families
* Communicate with healthcare professionals and other staff members to ensure continuity of care
* Follow all nursing practices and regulations, including infection control procedures
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using point click care software
* Use risk management tools to identify and mitigate potential risks to residents' health and safety
* Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
* Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary interventions
* Oversee and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

Qualifications:

* Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting
* Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and patient care standards
* Proficiency in the use of point click care and risk management tools
* Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other staff members
* Ability to work independently during the night shift
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
* Covid-19 Vaccinated or Possess a Valid Exemption
