Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $40 - $42 an hour
- Short Term Leave
- Bonus: $3,000 Assignment Bonus for new SHC employees with CCC's
- Hours per week: Full-time. 37.5 hours/week
- Start Date: September 2024
- End Date: December 2024
- Location: In-Person
- Details: Full-time, short-term leave for Speech-Language Pathologist CCC. Caseload is elementary age group.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
