Description
Midway University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions, beginning in Spring 2025. We are looking for instructors with a background in Criminal Justice to teach primarily in person on campus in Midway.

As an adjunct faculty member, you will provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and personalized learning experiences aligned with the University Mission. We are looking for energetic individuals who have a passion about teaching and who can engage both majors and non-majors in the learning about criminal justice

Class times for in person courses range from 8:00am - 2:00pm EST on either Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday. Priority consideration will be given to those candidates that can teach on campus during the times listed.

Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Criminal Justice or related field. Prior collegiate level teaching experience is highly desirable. Willing to learn or have experience in instructional technologies to teach traditional face to face courses. Competency in computer usage and software applications, including Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams). All adjunct faculty must take Canvas training before teaching at Midway University. Canvas is the Learning Management system used by the University.
