Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will also consider 36 hrs, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Travelers will be scheduled for weekends as needed. Weekend days constitute Saturday and Sunday, weekend nights are considered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Requirements:
  • NM license
  • 2 years of experience required; will review for 1.5 years
  • BLS
  • NIH
  • PALS
  • ACLS
  • TNCC
  • Level 1 trauma experience is preferred
  • Trauma Level II Experience preferred
  • Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
  • Electronic Documentation preferred
  • Previous Charge Experience preferred
  • Travel experience strongly preferred however if traveler is has 2+ years Level 1 Experience client may consider

  • Ratios: 1:5
  • Charting: Cerner
  • Floating to Peds ED is optional, Floating to Adult PCUs is an expectation based on staffing needs. Potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma DOE as well
  • First-timers accepted: Yes, but travel experience strongly preferred however if traveler is has 2+ years Level 1 Experience client may consider
  • Approximately 60%-80% of the Emergency Department is admitted, and many of the ED rooms are "ED Holding
  • Currently seeing an increased number of admit holds
  • Medication administration, including IV medication via the seven medication rights; document and communicate clinical findings
  • COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical
  • No locals within 75 miles
