Position Summary
The Experience Nurse Specialist position oversees service management operations to ensure relationships and experiences with patients and families are optimal.
Responsibilities
Coordinates the service management system to intake and process compliments, comments and concerns from patients and families:
Maintains a timely intake process through multiple portals.
Utilizes the designated system to document concerns.
Triages complex information for appropriate follow up.
Conducts reviews of the electronic health record (EHR) as needed.
Maintains excellent communication with key partners such as Risk Management, Peer Review, and Medical Staff Support, Quality, and Marketing and Communication.
Collaborates with the Central Billing Office to investigate billing disputes and make billing adjustments as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree is required- or higher.
1 year experience in patient advocacy, customer service and/or related field.
Current NC RN licensure
