SUMMARY
The Senior Systems Administrator role takes the lead in ensuring the stable and secure operation of the MRS BPO LLC technology systems. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. Interfacing with SAAS and PAAS vendors to create an optimum balance between security, performance and cost. This position is also responsible for analyzing and resolving escalated end user hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform Windows Desktop and Windows Server Administration
Perform Linux Server Administration (Amazon, RHEL, CentOS)
Perform Cloud Services Administration (AWS and Google)
Perform level 3 troubleshooting on PC and Server Hardware
Setup and Troubleshoot Networking Infrastructure (LAN and WAN)
Configure and maintain Firewalls and other Security Focused Appliances
Support Various Business Applications
Work with other departments and clients to resolve issues
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with Dell PCs and Servers
Experience working within a security focused environment
Comfort in telecom circuit knowledge and troubleshooting
Windows PowerShell scripting exposure
Linux administration and scripting
AWS experience (EC2, VPC, Peering, RDS, EKS)
PaloAlto firewall management experience is a plus
Gsuite Administration a plus
Technical School, College or Equivalent Technical Certifications
Position requires interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision as well as the ability to express complex technical concepts both verbally and in writing to all levels of management
