The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking Manchester campus-based student employees as Office Assistants in the Wolak Learning Center. Office Assistants will greet and assist students seeking academic support services and provide administrative assistance to The Wolak Learning Center staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Courteously greet visitors to the Wolak Learning Center
- Direct students seeking assistance to appropriate resources
- Maintain front office forms, resources, and technologies
- Create marketing material and organize event planning for the Wolak Learning Center
- Assist Coordinators with administrative tasks
- Other projects as assigned by Wolak Learning Center staff
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Work study part of financial aid package
- Students with Federal Work Study may be prioritized
- Applicants should possess a positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Good interpersonal communication skills and ease in relating to students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Given the sensitive nature of the information in this area, Office Assistants are expected to comply with confidentiality standards established for the position
- Excellent level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with screen recording and video messaging applications such as Loom
- Experience with design programs such as CanvaPro
- Knowledge Wolak Learning Center's services
- Knowledge of various campus student services
- Applicants should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Office Assistants will be expected to utilize their own computer where appropriate

Work Hours:
Office Assistants will be required to work a minimum of 3, 3-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday, between the hours of 9am - 7:00pm, Friday, 9:am - 4:30pm. Schedule will be dependent on candidates' availability.

Compensation
