Our client, a leading university food services provider, is seeking a Senior Cook to join their team. As a Senior Cook, you will be part of the Rare Air Cafe in the University Center supporting various meal periods. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Title: Senior Cook
Location: Gunnison, CO
Pay Range: $15.75/hr
Shift:  Mon – Fri 1130am – 7pm
What’s the Job?

1. Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items.
2. Manage food preparation for various meal periods including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
3. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
4. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality meal service.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

1. Minimum of one year of production cooking and on-line cook experience.
2. Familiarity with code dates and food temperature guidelines.
3. Strong culinary skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
