An immediate part time or full time position is available at an established general dentistry practice in the Highview area. We are a family-owned office that is known for providing our patients with excellent dental care. We are looking for an experienced hygienist that has good communication skills and is committed to caring for patients.

Minimum Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in KY and an Associate's degree in dental hygiene
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
Experience with Co-Diagnosis and Treatment of Periodontal Disease
CPR Certification
Local Anesthetic and General Supervision Certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and assist with procedures such as fillings and extractions.
Review and update patient documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Utilize strong communication skills to educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans.
Supervise dental assistants and provide guidance on proper techniques and protocols.
Maintain CPR certification and uphold infection control standards in the dental office.
Collaborate with dentists to deliver high-quality patient care and treatment outcomes.

Our office is open Monday-Thursday. Full time hours are 32 hours a week. Part time hours are 16 hours a week. We are flexible on the days the part time hygienist will work. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
