Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring school nurses to work in a school located in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
School Health Office RN Contract Details:
- $40 - $45 an hour
- RN 2024-2025 school year
- Hours per week: Full-time Monday – Friday school schedule
- Start Date: 8/26/2024
- End Date: 6/10/2025
- Location: In-person
- Details: Full-time school clinic nurse for the 2024-2025 school. Schedule is split 2 days per week at middle school and 3 days per week at elementary school. Bell times at the middle school are 7:45am-3:15pm and the bell times at the elementary school are 8:15am-3:45pm.
- RN will see students on an as-needed basis in the school health office
- Nurse will be working in collaboration with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardian(s) to promote physical and emotional safety and wellness
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
- Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services or treatment
- Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
- Promoting education and wellness initiatives

Requirements:
- 1 year of school nursing or pediatric nursing experience and computerized charting experience.
- Must have Active RN license and be a Certified School Nurse in the state of Illinois.
- American Heart Association BLS
- Prior school setting or pediatrics experience
