Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced LPN, (LTC) to fill an opening located in Petoskey, MI for $1655.2/Week (taxed + non-taxed)

Gross week: $1655.2/week

Non taxable Stipend:$1050/Week | $26.25/Hour

Taxable pay: $605.2/Week| $15.13/Hour

Blended Hourly: | $41.38/hr

Requirements of the (LPN):

● Must have AHA BLS certification

● Must have valid MI, LPN License

● Must have At least two years of SNF/LTC, Med Surg experience
* Covid Vaccine Required - _Medical & Religious Exemptions can be accepted on a case-by-case basis._
* _*This is a challenging location to work at. This need is not for LPN's that may have difficulty handing high paced/stress climate.*_

*It is Imperative travelers clock out, or they won’t be compensated for that shift until a dispute is resolved.*

Responsibilities of the (LPN):

● Shift: 2:30PM - 11PM

● 40 hours/wk

● 13 week contract
Every Other Weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled

## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring the well-being of patients in various healthcare settings.

## Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately
- Assist in medical procedures and examinations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic
- Provide education to patients and their families on healthcare conditions and treatments
- Implement and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

## Experience
### Required Skills:
- Proficiency in medical documentation and charting
- Ability to work in various clinical settings including Operating Room (OR) and Emergency Room (ER)
- Knowledge of case management principles
- Competence in conducting infant care procedures
- Strong understanding of nursing practices and protocols

### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Epic
