Trailer Mechanic

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair, a fleet management company, is currently expanding its operations in the Middletown/Wurtsboro, NY area. We are looking to hire an experienced Trailer Mechanic to help us grow.

WHAT WE OFFER:
Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
Competitive hourly pay. $25-$35/hour based on Trailer Mechanic experience.
Complete Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, Life Insurance after 90 days.
Paid holidays and vacation time.
401K package with employer contribution.
Bi-weekly paychecks. Overtime after 40 hours.
Clothing & boot allowance after 90 days.
Tools supplied by RSS.
Year round, outdoor work.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose malfunctions on all SEMI trailer systems.
Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective components.
Perform regular check-ups and preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including: ABS, air brakes, frame, body, suspension and electrical systems.
Coordinate with other staff, receive & execute work instruction in a timely & proper manner.
Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers.
Requirements:
Must have Semi Trailer Mechanic experience.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Valid Driver's License and a Clean Driving Record
Ability to pass the DOT physical and drug screen.
