*Job Responsibilities for a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic*

Work schedule: *Monday – Friday, NO WEEKENDS or NIGHTS*

The position will involve, but not be limited to, the following:
* Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks
* Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry. For example: hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc.
* Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Work independently, as well as part of a team

Candidates must have mechanical ability/ skills/ knowledge; valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, trade-specific tools, and the ability to read & understand manuals/ diagrams.

_Preference_ given to candidates who are *self-motivated, detail oriented*, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly, and a desire for career advancement.
