*Unit details*:
* Crisis Stabilization
* Co-ed Adolescent

*Shift*:
* 40 hours per week day/evening rotation
* 32 hours per week evening/night rotation
* 40 hours per week evening/night rotation
* 40 hours per week night shift w/ every
* Part-time of 32 hours a week available as well

*Pay*: Based on experience starting at $32/hr, higher with experience plus shift differential ($3/hr for evenings, $4.50/hr for nights, $1.50/hr for weekends.)

*Must have qualifications:*
* License: MD RN License
* Certification: AHA approved Basic Life Support/CPR certification
* Experience: New Grads Accepted
* Education: Associate degree
* Preferred: Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred

*Responsibilities*:
* Treats patients with psychotic illnesses, including Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorders, as well as Neuropsychiatric Disorders.
* Patients are treated under the expert care of experienced psychiatrists, nursing, and other clinical staff. With an average length of stay between 10 and 14 days.
* Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.
* Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
* Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff. Document and report patient progress to treatment team.
* The translational research happening at Sheppard Pratt is conducted by a diverse, experienced team of professionals.

In their programs, they serve children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with a wide variety of diagnoses. The facilities offer the intensive, specialized care and world class expertise needed to address difficult-to-treat diagnoses like eating disorders, neuropsychiatric conditions, trauma-related disorders, treatment-resistant depression, and co-occurring disorders through our inpatient programs and specialty services. Primary areas of study include major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, autism, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer’s disease/dementia.
