A financial firm is looking for a QA Lead to join their team in New York, NY.Compensation: $175-180k Responsibilities:Lead initiatives for automation of post validation testsLead initiatives for automation of regression testingDevelop and enhance QA test processes to reduce the number of production incidentsDevelop enhancements to continuously improve application stability and scalability in post-production phase of application projectsHelp drive quality and effectiveness of risk automation controls established by business and process application ownersConduct reviews of applications and workflow processes to target automation effectivenessProduce high quality user test scripts for multiple applications and workflow procedures that need automationTrain and educate junior team members on QA processes and System architectureQualifications:12 to 15 years of relevant experienceStrong problem solving and analytical skills Experience with Fixed Income, Equities and FX domain Knowledge of SQL Server and SQL queriesITIL experienceAble to prepare automation strategy and plan and develop data reconciliation automationsExperience in designing Frameworks Knowledge in any automation testing toolsExperience working on defect management tools like QC or JiraHands-on experience in Database, Data Warehouse (ETL), Data conversion, data migration, functional/regression, back/front end and API testingExperience setting up testing practices and teams from scratch, Stabilizing Book of Work, creating and publishing QA Metrics and reports to senior tech and business & management
