Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

Open to New graduates from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant programs
Active Georgia Physical Therapy Assistant license
Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
Passionate about the Outpatient setting
Monday - Friday schedule. No weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

Plan and implement treatment interventions according to patient plan of care
Documents daily record of patient’s condition, adapting treatment plans accordingly under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Communication of patient progress with Physical Therapist, patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
Patient and family education of patient progress to include skilled recommendation on AE/DME and community support where available and when appropriate
Ability to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and lift/assist patients as needed
