Travel Therapist Opportunity

Assignment Details – Licensed Inpatient Therapist (LMSW, LMHC)

Job duties to include:
• Provide treatment and case management activities to the patient, which may include individual and group therapy, linkage with community resources, and discharge planning.
• Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan.
• Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients’ functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients’ treatment team.
• Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
• Perform social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health.
• Complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and provide referrals as needed.
• Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
• Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or a related field required
• Licensure/Certification: licensed in the state of Iowa as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW); must hvae current CPR and Mandatory Reporter for Adult/Child
