At the undergraduate level, the Department of Economics offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Economics. The department also offers a Master's of Economics degree as well as a Ph.D. in Economics. Fields of concentration include Econometrics, Microeconomics/IO, Environmental Economics, Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and International Economics.

Essential Job Duties:

The Department of Economics is accepting applications for the position of Lecturer, Non-Tenure Track Faculty (part-time). Non-Tenure Track Faculty positions are one-semester or one-year, with the possibility of renewal.

Successful candidates will teach 1-3 courses on the undergraduate or graduate curriculum, depending on the department's needs. Teaching is in one of the following areas: Microeconomics, macroeconomics, labor economics, and/or law and economics. Teaching locations include our main campus in Raleigh.

Specific hiring needs for the upcoming academic year have yet to be determined.

Other Responsibilities:

Contributing member of the department, college, and university.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Requires doctoral degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest.

Other Required Qualifications:

Excellent teaching ability.

A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.
