REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years

Job Description:
  • Position requires considerable technical ability, experience and judgment to perform cardiovascular ultrasound and evaluate the quality of data for Cardiologist interpretation. Must have substantial knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular disease, dynamics of blood flow, Doppler and color flow imaging techniques.
  • Expected to have a detailed understanding of ultrasound instrumentation, cardiovascular physiology and pathology, hemodynamics and the ability to relate these findings into clinically meaningful data.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meets expectations of the applicable One Client Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.


QUALIFICATIONS A. Education/Skills 
Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology required.
  • B. Experience 1 year of experience in Cardiac Ultrasound required.
  • C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications 
  •  Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
  •  BLS required.
