*Job Overview:*

The essential role of chassis repair technicians is to maintain, and repair chassis and containers (think Skelotonized Trailers) used for national and international shipping distribution. A chassis repair technician performs preventative and corrective maintenance when equipment is out of service.

*Job Responsibilities and accountability:*

· Troubleshoot and repair all chassis/shipping containers/trailer defects.

· Including ABS systems; air brake system, wheels end, and structural assemblies

· Some welding and fabrication of chassis and shipping containers.

· Use of mobile app to log work orders and document repairs.

*Job Requirements:*

· Mechanical background.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· Must be able to pass a substance screening

· Ability to work outside in all types of weather

· Capable of working at heights of 30 feet

· Must be willing to work all shifts as required

· Capable of lifting 50lbs with or without assistance

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Must have basic computer skills and comfortable working on a computer.

Compensation: $37.50 per hour plus $9.50 pension after 90 days.
