ARDMS Ultrasound Technician - Full Time

MLR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment with precision and attention to detail.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review imaging results.

Qualifications for a Sonographer:

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Certification by the ARDMS (AB) (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is required to be obtained within the first year of hire.
2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician (preferred, not required).
Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and the use of equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
