New opportunity looking for a Technical Inside Sales Associate with OEM FASTENER SALES experience to join our customers team. This person needs to be a great verbal and written communicator that is task oriented and has the ability to interact with different levels of the customer. As you grow in the job you will develop your customer base and partner with your National Sales Manager.The position is full-time, onsite, not remote, and offers competitive benefits and compensation. The desired team member generates new business and ensures the growth of existing accounts. They would assess the potential application of company products or services and offer solutions that meet customer needs. They utilize their technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales. The team member relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of this job. This position reports to the National Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
Works with National Sales Manager and Director of Sales to proactively prospect and develop relationships with area OEMs to generate growth.
Places and receives telephone and email requests for customer quotations, orders, order changes/adjustments, and cancellations according to established guidelines.
Follows up on orders and quotes in a timely manner by working closely with purchasing and vendors, updating customers on deliveries and scheduled shipments.
Maintains professional-level communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
Written and verbal communication skills must be above average. Maintains files of active quotes and orders posting activity such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, etc.
Updates pricing records/contracts as required. Is instrumental in achieving the company's revenue/profit goals to ensure success
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
Ability to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Knowledge of excel, and word processing software
Strong organization skills
This position will require multiple phone/video calls.
Must have 4-7 years of OEM Fastener sales experience
