Job Description:

Adoration Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time skilled nursing role in Maryville, TN. This position involves providing specialized care to a pediatric patient in their home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate, personalized care to a 3-year-old patient.
Manage g-tube and oxygen support as required.
Assist with daily living activities (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient’s health and update medical records.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:

Current LPN license.
Experience with pediatric care, g-tube management, and oxygen support is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Compassionate and patient-focused mindset.

Responsibilities:
Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned
Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
Active CPR certification
Familiarity with electronic health records
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
